Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is a famous American actress and model. Her talent was noticed by an agent and encouraged her to enter the entertainment business. After some thought and debate, she decided to leave school and begin a profession as an entertainer. Her first appearance was in the movie 'Children of the Corn' in Fields of Terror. She was not happy with the performance. She spent plenty working on her acting, and appeared on several low-budget films to show her abilities. Even though it wasn't the most straightforward path to take however, her determination and dedication to her craft were well-rewarded. She received recognition fame and high praise for her performance in the movie Training Day after which her acting career began to take off. Some of her well-known films include 2 Fast 2 Furious Hitch Ghost Rider Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans and Holy Motors.
